24 Hour Milsim - My Experience, Tips & Advice

I attended my first 24hr Milsim last weekend and I wanted to share my experience with everyone.
I had no idea what to expect going into it but I made sure I took everything from Makeup & Guns Blog post, Baby Wipes, Dry Shampoo, Lip Balm, Moisturiser & a Shee wee. All of these items can be really useful but personally I only ended up using the deodorant and baby wipes and I wish that instead of filling my bag with all these other items I packed some warmer clothes!
Mouthwash and chewing gum was also an essential in my eyes as you don't always have time to brush your teeth properly.
For anyone who has never been to a 24 Hour Milsim I would say the most important thing is to take warm clothes, on our weekend it rained and we all got completely soaked so a change of warm clothing was a real morale boost.
The best part about the Milsim was the sense of community everyone helped each other out and swapped items of clothing, food and other essentials.
It is really important also to make sure you take plenty of food and hot drinks because when you are coming back from a 4am patrol you need to get warm drink down you so you don't freeze. I found this out the hard way on day two as I completely ran out of food.
All in all I think it was a great experience everyone should take part in as it really tests your team's commitment.
For all the times you have heard you can't play Airsoft you are just a girl, I just wanted to add that all four of the girls at the Milsim stayed to the end and half of the guys went home on the Saturday.
If you are new to the game or have any questions I would be happy to give you any further tips or advice if you need it.
Thanks for reading
